Chased by Suzumebachi – Asian Giant Hornet

The Asian Giant Hornet (Vespa mandarinia) is the most dangerous animal in Japan, killing more humans each year than any other animal including sharks, bears and snakes. Watch me run away quick as these huge hornets (called Suzumebachi in Japanese) take an unwanted interest in me while I attempt to film them in a green tea field in the mountains of central Japan. I know that I am a fool…only now we have the video to prove it.
